Minor Safety
Policy.
Effective Date: 15 August 2026 · Latest Updated: 15 August 2026
SoVia maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding any abuse, exploitation, or sexualization of children. SoVia is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all users. To protect minors—individuals under 18 years of age—this policy outlines strict rules regarding age eligibility, prohibited content, AI safety guardrails, risk detection mechanisms, and violation enforcement.
Any user found in violation of this policy will have their account permanently banned, including access from associated devices, and may be subject to legal action by law enforcement. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please stop accessing or using SoVia immediately.
Age Eligibility, Restrictions & Prohibited Users
SoVia strictly enforces an 18+ age restriction:
- Adults Only: Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older are permitted to register or use SoVia.
- Strict Prohibition for Minors: Minors are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or accessing the Service.
- Prohibition of Age Falsification & System Circumvention: Any attempt to falsify your age or circumvent automated/manual underage detection systems and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) filters is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.
- Prohibited Users: Users who have been convicted of crimes against children—including but not limited to sexual assault, physical abuse, child neglect, or human trafficking—are strictly prohibited from registering or using SoVia.
- Third-Party Account Management Ban: Creating, managing, or authenticating accounts on behalf of a minor is strictly prohibited.
- Minor Discovery Action: If we discover or receive reports that a user is under 18, we will permanently ban or delete the account, remove associated content and posts, and block the user, device ID, phone number, and email from re-registering.
Prohibited Content & Behaviors Involving Minors
Regardless of the user's actual age, any content involving minors—including real, fictional, or AI-generated minors—is strictly forbidden.
2.1 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) & Exploitation (CSAE)
- Any nude, partially nude, or sexualized imagery depicting minors.
- Content involving the sexual fetishization of minors, such as discussions, sexualized roleplay/playacting, or depictions of minors wearing sexualized clothing.
- Depictions of child nudity or sexualization in any form, including artistic representations, drawings, comics, anime, deepfakes, or digitally composite media.
- Text, voice, image, or video descriptions of sexual acts involving minors.
2.2 Harmful or Dangerous Acts Involving Minors
- Threats, encouragement, or acts of physical violence against minors.
- Psychological abuse, coercion, or manipulation of minors.
- Depicting, promoting, or encouraging dangerous activities, neglect, or trafficking of minors.
2.3 Prohibited Appearance of Minors
- The appearance or inclusion of minors in any user-generated content, media uploads, or public profile avatars on the platform is strictly prohibited.
2.4 Adverse AI Prompting & Jailbreaking
- Attempting to prompt SoVia AI companions to create, roleplay, or describe minor characters.
- Prompting AI to generate romantic, sexual, or suggestive scenarios involving students or minors.
2.5 Sensitive Minor Media & Impersonation
- Uploading sensitive or private photos or videos of minors (including a user's own children) is prohibited because SoVia uses automated visual processing and cloud storage.
- Pretending to be a minor to interact with adults, or pretending to be an adult to solicit information from minors, is prohibited.
High-Risk Behaviors & AI Safety Guardrails
- Age Verification Solicitation: Requesting government IDs, personal data, or age proof from other users.
- Minor Persona Creation: Attempting to customize AI companions, avatars, or voices to represent minors, such as a “14-year-old AI friend” or “child voice model.”
- Sensitive Environment Uploads: Uploading images or videos depicting environments primarily associated with minors, such as schools, playgrounds, daycare centers, or children's bedrooms.
- Self-Harm & Abuse Conversations: Inducing AI to engage in conversations regarding minor self-harm, abuse, or neglect. In crises, SoVia automatically redirects queries to external crisis helplines.
Risk Detection, Moderation & Reporting
SoVia employs a multi-layered safety architecture to identify minor-related risks:
- Automated AI Content Filtering: Real-time scanning of text prompts, uploaded images, and AI dialogue streams for safety triggers and CSEA keywords.
- Behavioral Pattern Analysis: Automated detection of repeated account creation attempts, suspicious upload patterns, or AI jailbreak attempts.
- Human Review: AI-flagged content is escalated to trained safety moderators for rapid evaluation.
- Reporting Mechanisms: Users can immediately report potential minor safety violations or suspicious profiles using our in-app reporting feature (available on every post, profile, and chat interface) or by emailing us directly at support@cttrx.com.
- Legal Compliance & Mandatory NCMEC Reporting: Severe violations involving CSAM or CSAE will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant international law enforcement agencies as required by applicable laws.
Violation Consequences
Violations of this Minor Protection Policy result in immediate enforcement:
- Permanent Deletion: Immediate removal of all offending posts, comments, AI prompts, and profile data.
- Account Termination: Permanent termination of the user account without prior notice or right to appeal.
- Access & Device Blocking: Device ID, phone number, email, and IP-level bans to prevent re-registration across the platform.
- Law Enforcement Referral: Mandatory referral of user details and log evidence to law enforcement agencies in cases of child exploitation or safety threats.
Proactive User Education & Interventions
We actively educate and protect our users through:
- Prompts, warnings, and content-blocking mechanisms triggered during content creation, posting, and AI prompting whenever risky keywords or media are detected.
- Clear guidance on community safety rules available within the app’s Safety Center.
Guidance for Parents & Guardians
SoVia does not knowingly collect personal data from or offer services to minors. If a parent or guardian discovers that a minor has created an account or uploaded content on SoVia:
- Contact Support: Email us immediately at support@cttrx.com.
- Action Taken: Upon verification, we will promptly delete the account, remove all associated data, and issue an access ban.
Data Handling & Retention
- Data Isolation: Any minor-related content flagged or uploaded will be immediately isolated and never used for AI training or model calibration.
- Evidence Preservation: Content deleted due to policy violations may be retained in secure, encrypted backup archives for up to 90 days—or longer if required by a valid law enforcement order—solely for legal, compliance, and evidentiary purposes.
